In the process of CNC milling machining, the surface finish of many parts is affected by factors such as material hardness, cutting tools, machine tool feed, and cutting fluid. Below, we conduct research on tools to help our customers improve the surface quality of parts.
The general causes of surface scratches in custom CNC machining milling manufacturer are summarized as follows:
Poor raw materials, scratches during transportation
1. Strict requirements for custom CNC machining manufacturers
2. Strengthen the inspection of incoming materials, especially the inspection of concealed materials with protective films (as far as possible, custom CNC machining milling manufacturer are required to put transparent protective films).
Scratches on CNC machine tools, cutting tools, stamping dies, and custom CNC machining manufacturer scratches caused by improper operation by operators.
1. For workpieces with high surface custom CNC machining milling requirements, such as untreated, electroplated, aluminum, etc., if the material is not covered with a protective film, a medium-viscosity PE protective film must be attached before processing.
2. When loading, a rubber pad should be placed between the two layers for protection, and it is strictly forbidden to drag custom CNC machining parts directly.
3. When unloading, no matter the size of the material, it must be handled with care and no drag.
4. Use pearl cotton or cardboard to separate and place in layers, and it is strictly forbidden to contact each other between the workpieces.
5. When custom CNC machining milling parts sblanking, care should be taken to prevent the machine table, upper and lower molds, and unloading plates from scratching the plates.
6. In order to prevent the material from falling freely when the shearing machine cuts the material, rubber pads should be used to protect the material on the machine tool.
7. The gap between the upper and lower molds and the discharging system must be adjusted during punch processing. The surface of the workpiece must be free of scratches and mold indentations. During processing, the lower mold should be cleaned regularly to prevent iron filings from scratching the surface of the workpiece.
8. During the custom CNC machining milling manufacturer process, the surface condition of the film material must be checked to prevent defects on the surface of the incoming material, resulting in scrapped processing.
9. When laser unloading, it can process plates without protective film, but it is strictly forbidden to drag and move the plates when feeding. The appearance does not meet the requirements to be removed. When cutting, clean the surface of the workpiece, and separate the debris, dust and pearl cotton layer by layer.
Some custom CNC machining parts manufacturer need to be welded during the production process, and there are scratches during the welding process.
1. The protective film on the front and back sides around the welding area must be removed before welding to prevent surface defects caused by scorching of the protective film.
2. It is strictly forbidden to directly contact the surface of the workpiece with the work surface (the grounding part can be handled separately). It can be separated by smooth wooden block, wooden square, pearl cotton, etc., to prevent iron filings and welding slag on the working surface from scratching the workpiece.
3. During the working process, it must be handled with care, no dragging, and no workpieces can be placed on the work surface, pallet or ground at will.
4. Try not to polish the welding part. If polishing is required, minimize the polishing area.
5. Try to avoid unwelded custom CNC machining milling parts. The welding slag splashing on these surfaces can be gently scraped off with a knife. If necessary, the splash zone must be protected and isolated.
6. When materials are placed, it is strictly forbidden to collide or touch each other, and there must be protective devices for storage and turnover.
Scratches during secondary processing
1. Keep the drill bit sharp when drilling and tapping.
2. Keep the work surface clean when drilling and tapping.
3. The placement method must be layered, and the workpieces are strictly prohibited from touching each other.
4. For aluminum profile workpieces, special conveying devices should be used as far as possible, or EPE isolation plastic racks should be used.
Injuries during material transfer.
1. When the delivery personnel use a hand-push forklift or elevator to transfer, they must be bundled with PE plastic wrap before transferring.
2. In the process of handling, try to keep the pallet balanced, and don’t tilt the pallet too much, so as to avoid the material movement and scratch the workpiece.
Scratches during surface treatment
1. Check the workpiece carefully before loading, remove the defects, and repair the scratched materials in time.
2. Wear gloves and sleeves during operation to prevent sweat and oil stains from soiling the surface.
3. During the processing, the workpiece and the workpiece, the workpiece and the iron frame should be prevented from contacting each other, and the PVC glue stick should be used for isolation. Or it can be processed by hanging.
4. Be sure to pay attention to the decoupling method when unloading, so as not to scratch the workpiece.
5. The finished custom CNC machining milling manufacturer product should be protected, packaged and placed in accordance with regulations, and the storage time in the processing workshop shall not exceed four hours. Prevent corrosion of workshop air.
Scratches during custom CNC machining manufacturers product assembly.
1. Keep the work surface clean during work.
2. Wear cotton gloves, disposable gloves, and sleeves when working to prevent sweat, oil, and surface stains.
3. Handle gently, without dragging.
4. When repairing defective products, they must be protected in accordance with good custom CNC machining parts protection methods to prevent secondary defects.
Scratches during custom CNC machining manufacturers product storage and transportation.
1. Develop a reasonable packaging method according to customer needs and distance.
2. Maintain proper storage conditions in the warehouse (mainly temperature and humidity).
3. Strictly control the stacking height and use the stacking method reasonably.
4. The goods of the transportation vehicles should be placed reasonably and tied tightly.
5. The driver should drive steadily during driving and try to avoid sudden braking.
6. Handle with care when loading and unloading goods.
